Default Imbalance?

Well, we all see the dervish nerf.
Halved range of AoE Enchantment.
40% less AoE enchantment damages.
5 times recharge of most spells.
80% less health gain from losing enchantments.
40% less energy gain from losing enchantments.
Normal skills became elite skills.

However, paragons have some skills that were rediculous, now even more powerful.
Look at "song of power", All member have +4 energy regen until they cast a spell.
Even the duration is reduced, the regen is doubled (it was +2).
And a lot of class don't cast spell in battle.

And a lot of skills that was crazy, but didn't get nerved.

I my opinion, spear itself is crazy enough.
One hand weapon has superior DPS and can upgrade with 2 mods.
Look at paragon's armor and energy, they have warrior level AL with high energy tank (equal to a caster with scar sets). And the way paragon regain energy is way to easy, and their skill cost tiny energy.
And most of paragon skills are instant or cast very fast, and effect all party members.

It's obvious the most important role for the new IWAY.

Nerfing only happens when things are extremely overpowered. Your example of Song of Power, lets take a look.

Song of Power
25 Energy 1 Activation 30 Recharge
For 5...17 seconds, each ally within earshot gains 4 Energy regeneration until that ally casts a Spell.

For me I see this as a boost to end the regen "pitstops" inbetween farming. Personally, I think it will be nerfed to "until that ally uses a skill."

This is a preview event... I guess they are seeing how these skills interact with each other before making a move onto what needs to be changed.

or use dervish with it's hitting more people with swipe of a scythe

i love both classes it's going to bust PvP wide open. people will have to start working for the fame rather than just doing what everyone else is doing.

p.s it's "nerfed" just so you know for next time. no doubt someone will post saying "LOLS NOOB IT'S NERFED!!1111!!!1111!!!oneoeneoneneleventyfive!!!!"

Considering it only lasts up to about 17 seconds out of 30 seconds, I really don't think it's that overpowered, especially when you consider that it's a 25 cost skill for a class that generally only has about 30 energy and 2 pips of regen.
